TFL Review Summary

This shotgun is a workhorse that has so much to like. We not only have reviewed the Winchester SX4 but have shot 10's of thousands of rounds through it over the years. The SX4 is one of the lightest recoiling shotguns. It has decent controls and it is extremely reliable. The only nock we have on the SX4 is the fact that it does not have shims to adjust the drop and cast to better-fit shooters.

Manufacturer Summary

Resist the elements and reduce glare with the Cerakote FDE finish on the SX4 Hybrid Hunter shotgun.

The refined SX4 is based on the bullet proof Active Valve System that was the core foundation of the acclaimed SX3. We built on that solid operating mechanism and improved the balance, controls, and internal operating components of the SX4 to make it a worthy successor to the SX3.
