TFL Review Summary
This is one of Beretta's most affordable over/unders and the first over/under we reviewed on TFL. The 686 Silver Pigeon is a great option for an upland hunting shotgun. We really liked the value Beretta has packed into this good. It was great in the hands, balanced well, pointed nicely, good trigger and was easy on the recoil. We really enjoyed shooting this shotgun and wouldn't hesitate to take this shotgun afield. The auto safety was our biggest frustration but that is something you'd get used to with some time.
